Irvin's Country Rib Blanket By Rev.PennyAnnie
Crochet I
Color A Light color
Color B Dark color

Instructions
Foundation ch with Color B
Multipe of 4 + 3

Baby Blanet CO 138

Row 1: (WS) Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in rem ch 1 turn.
Row 2: (RS) Sc in each sc. Ch 1 turn
Row 3: (WS) Rep Row 2. At end of row 2 change to Color A by drawing lp
through cut Color B. Ch 1 turn.
Row 4: (RS) Sc in first 2 sc; 3rd row below sk first, 2 sc, FPdc (Front Post double crochet)
around each of next 2 sc; on working row; sk next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc * on 3rd row below, sk
next 2 sc FPdc around each of nect sc, on working row sk next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep
from * across. Ch 1 turn.
Row 5: Sc in first 2 sc * on 2nd row below, BPdc (Back Post double crochet) around each of
2 FPdc; on working row, sk next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc, rep from * across. Change to next color in
sequence by drawing lp through; cut prev. Color ch 1 turn.
Row 6: Sc in first 2 sc; on row below, FPdc around each of next, 2 FPdc on working row, sk
next 2 sc, sc in nect 2 sc, Rep. From * across ch 1 turn.
Row 7: Rep. Row 5. At end of row change to color A by drawing lp throuh Cut color B. Ch 1 turn.

Repeat Rows 5 and 6 for desired lenght.

Last 2 rows sc across

Baby Blanket Size 46 " x 42" 70 Stripes

I went ahead and tried out the pattern. I used RH SS and an I hook. I had a little bit of a problem understanding the pattern at first, but I think this is what it is supposed to look like.
