The navy one is the coat made out of Homespun. For those who have never worked with it...it stretches way too much for wearables IMO. The green one is made out of Bernat's Soft Boucle. Fine for fluffy wearables. Both patterns were out of the BH&G premiere issue of Simply Creative Crochet. I had trouble with their numbers, even I marked every repeat and locked myself away for an afternoon to make certain I was counting properly.

The Homespun coat is my coffee drinking on the deck coat for the cool evenings. Soft and cozy...but I don't think I'll be wearing it in public.

The green one has not been worn much cuz it's been too warm...but I'm sure it will get plenty of use in the fall.

Thanks for looking!

I agree with you about Homespun, Michelle. I really hate that stuff! Nevertheless, your sweater turned out very nice and at least you are getting some wear out of it. The green one is beautiful! You really do lovely work. And that little girl looks exactly like her pretty mom.:manyheart

They look so comfy (especially like the green one!). Thanks for the tip about avoiding wearables in Homespun!

Those look nice. I like sweaters but haven't made a long one, guess I won't in homespun (although my Martha's poncho turned out okay, maybe because it was a poncho and if it stretched it didn't matter...)
