here's my version of "short and sweet". i added a few extra rows to make it longer. it wasn't too difficult after i got the hang of the pattern, but i'll probably won't be making another one soon because i had to refer to the errata sheet for the book a bit too much. :( its made in a worsted weight microfiber/cotton blend...tracy

That looks great on you! I love that you added extra rows. I would do that too. I have got to make me one of these...it's been on my list for a while....next thing I know summer will be over and I won't be able to wear it!

You are so talented! I've seen so many great Short 'N Sweets here at Crochetville that I'm tempted to pick up the book and make one of my own!

I'm sorry to hear that folks are having problems with this pattern! I want to do it, but just haven't tried. Yours look great and it fits you perfectly. Maybe, you can post some of the problems you had with the pattern so we can be prepared when we tackle the pattern.

I agree with the frustrations about the many mistakes in the entire book. I expected better proofreading on a book of this caliber and the well-known author/franchise. In addition to printing out the MANY corrections for the book, I also went to each pattern and made the corrections on the pages before I began crocheting.

That's lovely! The extra rows are a great idea and it's good to see them work :)
I'm sorry to hear about the errata, nonetheless, yours is fab!

(I'd been wanting to make it with extra rows, since shrugs aren't everyone's bag!)
