This is my first wearable, and I'm very proud of myself :D
I was intrigued by the very simple construction of this pattern, and it actually came out better than I expected. Ideal for the summer holidays!

The pattern is from this book (http://www.saxo.com/item/2691759) (sorry, it's in Danish only!). I substituted a 52 % cotton/48 % viscose yarn for the wool yarn called for by the pattern, and as a consequence chained a few extra to get the required width. Hook size is 4 mm.

Thank you to Aggie May and artemis for helping me out with a question related to this pattern! :clap

Cee,

Very nice top!

The pattern looks very simple to figure out. Looks like I may want to make something like that too!

Again, great job!

yarndiva:

Thank you. The pattern is very simple, as you say. I don't think any of you would have great trouble making something similar, even without the pattern.

This top looks a bit like modular crochet, which is very simple and also very classic. I especially like the way the shoulders fall over the arm and the V-neck front and back. Lovely!

I love simple construction like that. I'm thinking about taking a crack at this dress which has the same construction premise as your shirt:

Thanks for sharing this link! I've never seen this page before. There were lots of nice and simple patterns there! I think that dress would be very nice for a hot summer.

very nice top.:) That looks exactly like modular crochet except done horizontally instead of vertically. Like its made in 2 pieces and then sewn together right? Nice work :hook
