I'm going to the CGOA convention. On Saturday we are to wear pink for breast cancer awareness. Having few pink things, I decided to make Over the Top from the July issue of Crochet! in pink. I used Paton's Grace.

This is my second garment, so I still gnash my teeth and hope it all fits when I'm done. Luckily I think I can go out in public wearing it.http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e65/wiartemis/PinktopforCV.jpg

I really wish you were going to be there, Kathy. I'd love to meet you and see some of your work in person. Maybe another time and another place.

That came out great! I haven't tried clothing yet but I hope to after a little more practice.

Artemis, you did a great job on that top! The pink suits you perfectly too. I'd never know that this was your second garment. I had the intention of making something to wear each day of the convention but must now be content with one or two items I've had for a long time.:( I don't have anything pink that is crocheted.

I echo those sentiments. DH and I are planning to visit the Pacific Northwest in 2007. Maybe I will have an opportunity to arrange a meeting with Kathy then.:yes

That is a lovely top - I love the neck and sleeves. Great colour and it looks fab on you. Hope you have a great time at the convention and come home with loads of ideas! :hook

I wont be going to the convention, we just came back from Lancaster, PA for my dd's dance comp...and it was real confusing to figure out the street routes for us!! EW! So, be sure to report here and let us know all the great stuff you saw!!!
