I bought the yarn for this on sale not knowing what pattern I was going to use. I just bought colors I thought would go together. I still have some balls and colors that I did not use.

Great Job. Is the sweater done in one piece? Can you remember what book/site you got the pattern from? Cindi

How nice! It looks like this sweater is crocheted from side-to-side. I like those kinds of patterns because they always have a better fit.:)

Wow - that looks great! I haven't seen one with the stripes going down like that instead of across. I like the short sleeves too. What pattern did you use?

Swapna, :blush Its a dog in the background. She is part Pomaranian. Her name is Goldi. We rescued her from a cage where she was left for 4 days.

Now for the sweater...I used the modular method. No real pattern just started with a rectangle in the middle and added another rectangle to it (purple) to make the front. Then I did the same thing for the back. Then make a long rectangle (green) that attaches the front and back rectangles to each other. Then I added other colors Yellow and Terra Cotta.

I used Debbie Bliss cotton/wool yarn I found on sale. I would have never bought it unless it was on sale. Its a little to hot to wear when it is humid outside. But on days when it is not so humid it is great! AND I'm sure I will get lots of wear from it in the fall. :)

Wow. That's really nice. I am so impressed with how you just wiped that up so quickly, and blended those colors together nicely.

Thanks Heather, (We were together when I bought the yarn :) )

I still have some balls left over but not enough to make another top with. Humm...what to do with that yarn?

Nice pattern, very beautiful top. I would like to have it in the colours black and white for wearing it at work.

Thanks, I've been crocheting for several years and have made ponchos, hats and scarves but nothing more fitted than that. So when I found this yarn on sale I knew I had to make a true "wearable"

I will definatly use the modular approach in future tops. A solid color would work nicely too.

Looks great on you, and I think the stripes will help us "fluffy" people look thinner!
