I made a book cover. :hook

This basic pattern,

except I did it in hdc's instead of sc's.

Edit - oops, an interesting side note I forgot to mention! This skein of RH yarn seemed especially rough and thick when I was trying to make something else from it. But it feels so nice and soft with the hdc's!
