My crocheted cheeseburger

Check out my new hamburger. It is both my first crocheted burger and my first show and tell on Crochetville. Enjoy! Basic pattern came from here (http://web.************/web/20011225165216/crochetbox.topcities.com/hot_burger_pot_holders.htm) with my own modifications for the lettuce, cheese, onion and olive. Wow That is great! I love all the fine details - it really makes it a true cheesburger, but in Australia that would have a slice of beetroot as well on our hamburgers!! Looks great though even with out!

I LOVE it!!! At the COGA convention, someone had given a hamburger as a gift during the keynote address. This hamburger was flat, however, with the bun, tomato, lettuce, cheese, and patty being a potholder! Too cute. I immediately put it on my "to do" list.

I really like it. I saw one years ago that when taken apart , the bun & "meat" became floor pillows but I don't remember what the other stuff was used for. I think the whole thing was about 30" across. I also like the idea of all the vegies becoming potholders. You did great work.
