This comfort pack from Crochet Me has crochet buttons. Are they too big?

Here is the comfort pack link (http://www.crochetme.com/Apr_May_2005/patt_comfort_pack.html).

What I like to do to make crocheted buttons (but keep mind mine are in thread with steel hooks!) is chain (approximately) 6, join to form a loop. Sc in loop around and around and around and around. (Once you've gone around it the first time, start sc's around those. (It's hard to explain!) Eventually you will end up with a very cute and functional button.

On the DMC website, they had a pattern for buttons too. Don't know if it's still there but worth the look. You have to join to get to the freebies but it's free.

Duh, I meant to include the link. . .that would have been much more helpful - thanks, Rachel!

I made buttons by taking a regular, flat, 2 (4) hole button slightly smaller than the button hole and making a crochet cover. You crochet a circle a little bigger than the size of the button, put the button on the back, crochet an even rnd in the back loops only, then make 1 or 2 rnds of decreases and sew it closed. When you sew it on, be sure to go through the holes in the real button. Good luck. Ellie 13 :cheer:clap
