like a flower you can sew on only a cherry.

I would think you could just crochet a little red ball and add a chain stem; you might have to add some wire, or maybe some invisible nylon thread, or perhaps just stiffen it enough with starch to make it stiff enough to stand up.

I was thinking about that too.

This is a purse pattern, but it has some little bobble things attached to it that look like cherries. Maybe this would work?

i made this one (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showpost.php?p=403922&postcount=3)using photoshop and made this bag (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=30391)from it.

Its more of a motif to be stiched as you go rather than appliqued on afterwards

:think MAYBE DROP IN A VERY SMALL WASHER IN THE MIDDLE OF FILLER NEAR THE BOTTOM FOR STABILITY. JUST A SUGGESTION
