I've been promising my ds a denver bronco's afghan for over a year now. It's not that I haven't tried - but I can't find a decent pattern for one. I tried making my own pattern using the horse head logo and a grid, but I came up with one that would have been about 350 stitches wide and 10 lbs when done.:no

Any suggestions would be appreciated - thank you!

I'm crocheting - I even tried doing the tunisian (afghan stitch) crochet and cross stitching, but that looked like heck!

Have you tried using knitpro?

There are three different sizes you can use to make your pattern.

http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/

The three sizes are

Regular (48w x 64h)
Big (96w x 120h)
XL (120w x 160h)

You can also do it for

Needlepoint, Cross Stitch, Crochet (1:1)
Knit Portrait (5:7)
Knit Landscape (7:5)

You can play with it until you get the size you want.

Hope this helps.:hook

My mom gave me some books that have the pattern to a Denver Broncos blanket that she made back in like 1979-1980. I have a picture of it if you want me to email it to you. Or if you have found one already its ok. It is made of granny squares. She still has the blanket. I am searching all my things for the book so I can make it because my boyfriend is a bronco fan and I want to make it for him some day.
