I finally got the fat bottom bag off my plate, but only after several attempts and a lot of help from Crochetville's resident pros (The pattern was from "Happy Hooker" and need pattern corrections that I was not aware of and couldn't locate. I started the project with a few friends and most stuck it out with me, but one friend who was trying to learn to crochet gave up. She is a knitter. She has made a few easy crochet projects and wanted to move on to something more challenging so we started the fat bottom bag to help her along. Unfortuantely, after our failed attempts at the uncorrected version of the pattern, she got discouraged and went back to knitting. Does anyone know of a similar knitting pattern for the fat bottom bag? By the way, my bag turned out great (thanks everyone) and I even added a cell phone pocket on the inside - - - - perfect!!!:lol

I replied in your other thread so I'll just copy and paste to here:
I'm guessing you got the corrections page? I hope. If not, here you go:

Tell your friend to try it again. It really is easy. Since you got one done, you should be able to help her.
I don't know of a similar bag off hand. You can check here:

You can also contact Julie, the designer of the bag and ask her if she has a knitted version or knows where to find one similar:

I haven't been on here since the end of May. I've been reading about the flat bottom bag and I have that book. Thanks for the link to the corrections!!! Maybe I'll actually make it. LOL
