Awhile back I purchased 2 twin-size mattress covers from WalMart and they came in nice, heavy-duty plastic bags which had zippers. Because they were such good quality I decided to hang on to them. When I finished my daughter's & grand-daughter-in-law's Christmas afghans, it occurred to me that these plastic bags would be ideal to put the afghans in so they would stay clean until I was ready to send them out. In fact, I've decided to send the afghans in the bags so my DD & GDIL can also use them for storage, etc. Just thought I would pass this along FYI.:idea

I do the same thing...
One thing though.. DONT place actual quilted quilts in plastic.. It distroys the material.. Its ok for afghans and other crochet items..
