Eh. I really don't feel like going to my website and resizing this picture so it will fit in here, so I'm just going to get this link to work.

These are little crochet chicks I made 2 years ago for easter. My grandmother made some for us years ago, so when I learned to crochet I asked for the pattern for them. They fit inside a crochet egg too.

Do you guys thing it is weird and stupid that I used varigated yarns for the chicks instead of chick colors like yellow and white? My sister thinks it's stupid.

I just love your chicks and eggs! They are adorable. Personally I think it's a great idea to use the variegated yarn. It makes the chicks so much more colorful. They are lovely!

Ladycrochat, My grandmother had the pattern from a magazine article from 1978. The photocopy she made me I have misplaced for the moment (It's probably burried under yarn). I have been meaning to organize and condense my stash soon. i'll let you know if I find it.
