Well, I finally found the perfect yarn (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=37577&item=150011182531) for the Easiest Shawl Ever (http://www.crochetme.com/issue_1/easiest_shawl_ever.html), so of course I had to make it! I must admit, I tried a couple of times prior, with all kinds of the wrong yarn, and it did NOT work out well. :lol I was really beginning to doubt how easy this "easiest shawl ever" really was! It really only worked with mohair, and what better than handpainted in my favorite colors. It's even named Mermaid! With the right yarn, it was super-easy, as promised! :c9

Well, it's nothing fancy, but I am so happy. :manyheart Here it is. I haven't even added the tassles yet but I will.

I think the shawl is gorgeous.

I do have a question... how do you decrease at the beginning of the project. Was that for the rows after the first one??? :hook maybe it is a stupid question but the directions confused me a bit!

That was giving me problems, too. After your foundation chain, you decrease by stitching 2 sc's together at both the beginning and the end of that first row as well as*every* row until you finish off.

I forgot to mention, if anyone wants to look them up for some similar yarn, I would highly recommend that Ebay seller and their yarn (linked on 1st post) as the yarn is soooo soft! :) When I use up more of the massive stash I won auctions on I'm sure I'll be back for more :lol
