I got another birthday :cake present in the mail today! A dear friend of mine sent me Crocheted Sweaters - Simple Stitches, Great Designs (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/156477399X/002-2313629-6575237?v=glance) by Susan Huxley. It looks like a great book. :)h And even though I have never attempted to crochet anything as scary :eek2 as a sweater... :faint I like these designs enough to want to try.

Does anyone else have this book?

i have the book and i think its great...
i made the sleeveless top on page 72 for my cousin, it turned out wounderfull!

i dont have this but its one SP picks up every time we go to Michaels and says that i need.... and i have looked thru it and have considered it but gettingyarn or something else usually makes me put the book back LOL

I have it on my amazon,com wishlist (along with about 100 other books, lol!). I am still waiting for the opportunity to create my first serious sweater, not sure I'm ready yet. I still have to master my tendency toward taking shortcuts where gauge is concerned.<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/ohdear.gif" /> Somehow, I have to reorder my thinking where "practice swatches" are concerned.

I have this book. It is wonderful! So many patterns I want to do! I used a 50% coupon at Michaels to get it. Still afraid to do my first sweater, too, but I have the yarn! :)
