In honor of the upcoming fifth anniversary of the attacks on September 11th, 2001; I designed this square.

I also made up a page on which is posted the graph to use as well as descriptions on stitching overtop to create the design.

I made it using a size H afghan hook. It turned out 9 X 8 inches even though it's 28 stitches high and wide. The tunisian stitch is taller than it is wide. I think if you single crochet stitched this, it should be a perfect square.
Once the square is completed, you stitch the details on.
It doesn't take very long to make, (this is what I did while Crochetville was down), and I hope some of you out there will make it too.
