I've got that odd looking contraption, came with my big huge ebay yarn order a while back and a week ago I'd have sent it to ya, but I just found a book yesterday at the thrift shop... The Bantam Step-By-Step Book of Needlecrafts and it has a section for hairpin lace that's piqued my interest. Once I try it though, if I don't love it, I'd be happy to pass it on to you, I'll keep ya in mind!
