Scarce as hens teeth. :( I did a huge search for this a couple of months ago. Occasionally you'll see one on eBay, but the bidding is outrageous. But you can get the second book, More Elmore (http://stitcheri.com/crochet2.htm), from the NeedleCraft Cottage (http://stitcheri.com/) in Tennessee.

i've never heard of this ??? would you mind filling me in? William (Bill) Elmore came up with some really innovative crochet techniques -- better ways of doing the stuff we do every day. Time-saving, yarn-saving stuff. I have More Elmore, but not the first one, The Elmore Method. The books were put out by Annie's Attic, but they're out of print now and are hard to find.

Thanks for the heads up, but I already bought that one from them a few months back. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif" /> Now, I am on the hunt for the first one.

:rofl I hope I wasn't bidding against you, Pfirsch--was it in a lot of about 20 crochet and knitting books? If so, I may have driven up your price a bit--sorry! :eek2

Anyways, let me know if I should keep looking for a copy--I was intringued by the description--

I know the original posting is old, but I just saw this book while searching on Addall for something else. The price was $75.

Type in "The Elmore Method" for the title.

There's a copy up on half.com for $55 right now...don't know if it's worth that much, any thoughts?
