I just bought the premiere issue of Crochet Today! put out by Coats and Clark, and desperately want the pattern for the afghan that's on the ad on page 7. It's the lady sitting in a chair holding a coffee mug.
I went on Coats and Clark's and Moda Dea's websites and can't find it anywhere!
If anyone happens to come across this pattern online, please let me know!
Thank you!!!

Is it the same one that is on the www.crochettoday.com site.. she's wearing reddish pajamas and holding a green coffee cup?
If that's it.. I too couldn't find it on either site. But, I tell you what, it looks very much like a regular ripple with a color change to the Moda Dea "Dream" ever so often.
Why not contact C&C and ask them where it is on their site??

I looked at the new magazine on line that you had the link for and I love that afgan it is really pretty. Looks like a lot of nice things in there. I love the creme sweater; but not in my size.
Do you know how I might in large it? PINKROSES

I'm thinking you might have to check yarn wrappers. :think

Isnt that just a ripple design? That is what it looks like to me? If so then there are a lot of resources on how to crochet a ripple. Am I looking at the right pattern?

The pattern is on the Coats & Clark website under Free Projects/Crochet/Print Advertisements. It's called LW1527 Sunrise Sunset Afghan by Dorothy Warrell. Skill Level is EASY. Here's the link:

That is not the one she wants.
She wants this one, which is just a picture and no pattern and yes it looks like a basic ripple to me, too.

I wrote to the CrochetToday support staff and here's their reply:
Hi Lisa. Thanks for your feedback for Crochet Today magazine! The pattern you requested can be located on www.coatsandclark.com. Click on the link to "free patterns"; the page 7 afghan is located under the "Crochet" / "Afghans - Throws" / "Ripple Afghan" links. For your convenience, the direct link to the pattern is below:

We hope this helps. Thanks again for your kind feedback for Crochet Today magazine! Keep checking our web site for updates, and continue to send us your thoughts and feedback. Enjoy making the patterns in our premiere issue!
Sincerely,
The Crochet Today Editorial Staff
But, the pattern they refer to doesn't mention Moda Dea. Maybe write back and ask about using Moda Dea as the picture shows.. and how much.
