Tapestry Tote with "flap"?

Does anyone out there know of a pattern for a tapestry...purse more (it's for my mom and a small tote just will not do...not with all that stuff she lugs around in her 20lb purses :yes ) with a flap cover thing. The more options I have the better...she's a picky one!

Maybe you could modify it to add a flap (i.e. extend the back or just make a big rectangle and sew the sides)

Take a loook at Carol Ventura's site. She has a number of patterns for tapestry bags, any one of which might be modified to make a bag with flap or a draw string. Just click on the pictures for the patterns. Her patterns are terrific.
