The book Donna likes is Donna Koohlers Encyclopedia of Crochet. It's a good one! :bounce

I like this one...

<a href="http://www.powells.com/cgi-bin/biblio?inkey=1-0873497171-0" target="_new">Crochet Stitch Bible</a>
I was able to get this book at overstock.com for cheaper than $30.

But I also have the Donna Koohlers Encyclopedia as well.

They're both great books with lots of stitches but I think I like the Bible better.

Yep, that's the book I like, Julie! :thumbsup Donna Kooler's Encyclopedia of Crochet. It's chock full of good crochet info. It doesn't have as many stitch patterns as some other books (some quite good ones, though), but it explains all those things you ever wondered about crochet... Am I doing such-and-such correctly? Whenever I have a quesion I can almost always find the answer there. It also has some nice patterns... wearables, accessories, afghans, home decor.

Jayme, I like overstock.com for crochet books, too! :wink Excellnet prices, cheap shipping! :thumbsup

<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/clap.gif" /> you won't be disappointed with the Crochet Bible.
In fact, I was looking at it today after I mentioned it to you, and will be starting a new project! <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/knit.gif" />
I like this book because it has soo many stitches, plus the pictures are soo pretty and in color too! It's all divided into like 12 categories, such as 'fans and shells', 'textured stitches', 'trim & edging' yadda yadda yadda.

Let me know what you think of it when it arrives!! <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/thumbsup.gif" />
