Hi everyone...
havn't stopped by in a few days. I'v been sooooo busy, and soooooo tired.

I need help with something that is likely very basic

every sweater i'v made before has been a cardigan. Now i'm wanting to make a a pullover sweater. I'm fine until i get to shapeing the neck, then i just don't have a clue what to do (i'm not following any paticular pattern, but just trying to design if for what i need as part of a halloween costume)

I'm wondering if anyone has a pattern that CLEARLY explains how to shape for the neck of a sweater. It must have a nice either v neck, or rounded neck, but no turtle necks or such. My kids have rather large heads also.....:think Dr says it's nothing to worry about, that they will grow into them:lol

To be honest, I'm useless because the only clothing items I think I've made are scarves, hats and one mitten (I will finish the other one, really). However, someday when I make something wearable... here's a great post which might help [http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23892&highlight=raglan]. If you search the forum for "raglan" there is a thread somewhere that describes the method for making a top-down sweater... did you start from the bottom on yours?
