I am almost done with the doily that is Netherland pattern I found on the net it is a motif design and will post a pic in a few more days not done yet.
Ok, I have looked all over the net for Netherland crochet patterns and only came up with a few over the last several weeks. I am looking for any thing doilies,, table toppers,, I will even look at motifs cause I know how to use the pattern and make it larger. I did get Hass books but not sure if thats what I really want to crochet. He sure does have some great books!
I did get 1 book off of was suppose to be a Netherland crochet book off of E-bay and as it turns out it is German.
so on the hunt again...
Does anybody know of any European Crochet Books--magazines ? espically from Netherlands--Holland area?

Terry, when hunting online have you tried using the Dutch language for your search? I have no idea what is Dutch for "crochet pattern" but it can really help. Like when hunting to tatting patterns I also check Frivolite (French) and Occhi (German) and get more results that way. Just a thought :) Good luck (ooh, I might have a friend in the Netherlands who could help, if you get really stuck pm me and I will see what I can do ;))

I'm Dutch so if there is anything you want translated you can ask me :) oh and "crochet pattern" is "haakpatroon" in Dutch :) I also know of this (http://www.*************.nl/haakpatronen_haakpatroon_crochet_patterns.htm) site that has patterns in Dutch and English and most of them are Dutch:)
Anyway if there's anything else you need to know I'm here to help:D

Hi Terry:)
Well I've been trying to find you some sites with patterns but I don't have much time right now so I will look further tomorrow if that's ok:)
I'm sorry but... what are table toppers? are they like table cloths that cover the whole table or are they the ones that only cover the middle of the table:blush
-Filet crochet= filethaken (or filethaakwerk)
-Pattern= patroon
-Patterns= patronen
-Doily= Onderleggertje
I hope that was of any help:) are you just looking for sites or would you like me to find you some sites where they sell books and magazines?

Some people in the olden days called them table toppers. Its still a doily just larger.
yes books and magazines would help too.
Never know what I may come across.
Thank--you for any help...
