My mom is looking for a bobble stitch afghan pattern. Anyone have a good one?

take a look at http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/projects/sep01_crocproj.html. This stitch is also known as the popcorn stitch, so google it and you'll probably find tons of patterns!

Check out the Leisure Arts 63 pattern stitches square book. They actually provide a chart for a sampler with all the squares but you could easily just multiply the pattern for one of the several bobble/popcorn rows and do an entire blanket with it.

There's also this:

Although she may not want the cables and such included as well.

Another suggestion would be to have a look at Prudence Mapstone's block stitch. It's similar to a bobble but not quite the same and makes for a nice effect. I'm about halfway through an afghan with this stitch for my DH and he's loving the way its turning out.

Today's (Sunday, September 3) free Annie's Attic pattern is for a bobble purse that could be adapted to your needs (?)

I just posted a picture under show/tell home decor of an afghan that I made. From the book Crochet with Hear, Best Loved Afghans. Has Front and Back Post Treble Stitches as well.
