Hello, glad to find these boards. I am new to crochet and found reference to a pattern called tea time afghan by Vanna White that was in the January 1995 issue of Good Housekeeping. Would love to see a picture of this. Have googled all over and no luck on a picture. Tried e-bay but no back issues of that magazine at the moment. I am a tea drinker and looking for a speical afghan to make formyself and this just might be the one I have to have. Mary!

Tea Time is in her book. Vanna's Afghans A-Z.
It is on pg.102.

Looks like it is done in blocks of afghan stitch , then assembled and there is a tea cup design cross stitched on each block.

This book should be available on Ebay.

Thank you thank, did not know it was also in a book so this will be easier to find than the magazine. Mary!

The library is a great resource - I'm sure I saw Vanna's book there. Zaraliz

Thank you. I am new to crochet but a die hard cross stitcher. I will be checking the library to see what crochet books they have and I bet I will find some nice things. Mary!
