I'm very proud of the way this Texas square turned out. I like Canadian one too but I really like the Texas one a lot!!

Sweet. Are those for an afghan or coasters or just for fun?
(do you have the texas pattern to share? my step mom is decorating her house in texas themed stuff and this would make a really amusing afghan)

It was quite easy to do, I was surprised.
It is for an afghan I'm making DH for Christmas. It is King size, in blues, except for a few. I'm from Canada originally so I made the Canadian one, he's a Texan, hence the Texan one, and I also made one that has two golden rings to signify our marriage. I'm hoping it all lines up nice. We'll see!

I like the idea of being able to exchange the squares. You could have an afghan with the 50 states on it when done.

Those are so pretty, but being a Texan myself I love the Texas square and will be doing some of these for my house since I have the whole house decorated in Texas Rustic.
