baby clothes

It's me again and in search of baby patterns. I have a friend due in Feb with her first little boy. Another friend of ours is attempting to make her first crocheted baby blanket so I thought I would make a layette (sp??) set. A simple jacket, booties and maybe a little hat would be great. Simple is my thing, I'm not the best at joining stuff so I love one piece patterns.

I'm off to plunge through my books, but not many of my patterns are for babies.

Thanks I found what looks to be a pretty simple short sleeve coat for the little guy. Anyone know of a simple diaper cover type pattern?? I'm still searching through that link you gave me, thanks again!!

I believe crochetpatterncentral has a pattern for Soakers, another name for a diaper cover.

Good luck! I recently finished a baby set..makes a wonderful gift for years to come.

Adore doing baby clothes, I've got tons of patterns for blankets as well as a very cute one that folds into a pillow when it's not in use.

I'm not sure though, since they are in books.. can I copy the patterns in as long as I note the book and the pattern designer?:?
