i'm looking for a baby sweater for a newborn baby. I'm not interested in old fashoned patterns, but something modern and trendy. If you have anything, please share!

I made this sweater set recently. It’s a great pattern.

I added the hat from this set.

These patterns have been around for a while. They are still very fresh designs and have been made often by many with great success.

The Baby It’s Cold Outside Sweater already mentioned is very nice. Here are a couple of versions that show this pattern’s versatility.

This is my favorite quick and easy pattern:
http://susan.kraus.net/pages/pattern4.html

Done in one color (as listed) it looks pretty basic, but I change it up by either doing stripes or doing three colors -- one for the body, one for the sleeves, and one for the trim.

Here's a photo of one I did in stripes: Striped SLK Sweater (http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1pM0jCSUoiRhDeXaGDvHI2gxPGQ30tSsLEZ61-eJkg13ayVfpE2AN0r8CapIcGWRUuX1wxaFeiuU2Ee-luEB4blGO7FbY48xG22sWqOi7rwG3qqYIxN6HsYKgyyzlq8sR-CPh4OAOG8Ww)

And one I did with three contrasting colors : Puppy SLK Sweater (http://tkfiles.storage.msn.com/x1pM0jCSUoiRhDeXaGDvHI2g_6D9dXYwBPuU_4nMSHY1mr1A2O SpXswkgDdi3UkJslaC6_qQe2ERiZTmjZJShBWZ0eomPltmsA-bJuE7KDHiccRikYGWDtv6IHIGeyPsMTD8Aen3LVFzzM)

Your color schemes are wonderful. Nice ways to use a good basic pattern.
