I would actually like to find these in 3 sizes...adult, toddler and baby! So I can make them for me and my DH and my two boys, :lol. I found a few patterns on CPC but not alot, just wandering if there are more options that I can't seem to find!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hugs.

most of the time if you find a pattern you like you can just use a smaller hook to make smaller sizes. You would need to see how much it shrinks when felted and go from there. so you actually may be able to make like a small adult size for your child but when felted it will be about right for their little feet.

Nikki,

Thanks for the info! I thought about trying that. Since I have never felted I kinda wanted the pattern to include the felting portion. I just love the look of felted crocheted things and I think slippers would be soooo cute!

Thanks again! :hug

I don't know if there are any other freebies on the net, but Fibertrends makes some crocheted felted slippers http://www.fibertrends.com/viewer/V8_crochet.html which are for sale at most local and online yarn shops. They do a cute one with a sheep on it too!

If I'm not mistaken this (http://www.bhg.com.au/display.cfm?objectid=12F373CF-1108-47DE-94E98654B6CB7F2B&navid=59AEB4C3-8F21-4ECA-B0238FFEB629DDEA) is a new free crochet felted slipper pattern that will be added to CPC soon.

Glad to help! (But to be perfectly honest, I believe I found that particular link because somebody else pointed it out on another forum.) :)

Has anyone tried to download the pattern? It's a pdf file but, at least on my machine, the print is SO tiny it's totally illegible. And, when I try to zoom in to a size I could read, it's totaly pixilated and also illegible.

Joan,

Which pattern are you trying to get? I could save it to a word document and then email it to you if you want. Would that help?

Let me know :hook

I had that problem... I'm not sure about viewing it on the screen, but when printing, under the "page scaling" option, I chose "fit to printer margins" instead of "none," and then it printed correctly. Hopefully when you look at the print options, that will make sense.

Remember for this pattern that it is Australian, so double crochet is what we think of as single crochet, and triple is really double.
