new Lion Brand "Ruffles" yarn

Does anyone know of a pattern for the new Lion Brand Ruffles yarn (http://cache.lionbrand.com/yarns/ruffles.html)? I love the patterns (http://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/patternFinder.fcgi?componentCategoryKey=1694575&search=Search) they show in the catalog, but they're for knitting and I don't knit. I went to Joann to try to "pet" it and see what the possibilities are, but they don't carry it.

I would love to make a pretty scarf or pretty shrug (http://www.victoriantradingco.com/store/catalogimages/2b/i3266.html) like funkyreporter posted (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35057) from Victorian Trading Company. Or maybe even embellish to make a puffy shirt ala Seinfeld, hee hee hee! Arrrr!

Maybe I should just suck it up and order a skein, but I hate ordering something when I don't have a pattern for it, just don't have the funds for that kind of stash-enhancing behaviour.

eep! that looks very complicated! So let me get this right, I need to crochet the ruffles together with a smooth yarn in order to make it work. I really with I could see this yarn in person. Anyone know if they carry it at Michael's? Michael's is kinda far. Oh, I guess I could call my LYS's , but LB seems a bit declasse for their kinda snobby knitting tastes. Oops! Did that sound bitter? Just kidding!
