I just bought a bunch of sock yarn and its saying to use size B hook. I cant find any crocheted patterns, they are all for knitting. The only ones I can find are for books at $20.00 a pop. Since Im not sure if I would like these I dont want to invest that much money.
If anyone can find any EASY crochet sock patterns for me that calls for a size B hook I would really appreciate it.
Thanks once again

A B hook is pretty small: B C D E F G H . . .
It's a 2.25 metric.

Can someone explain what a "toe up" sock means?

the toe up sock means you start where the toes go and work up to the ankle....

Thanks for the explanation, which seems the most logical way to make socks:lol . Are there actually patterns where it starts at the other end? :think Seems they'd be rather tough to do!

Top-down socks (in knitting, anyway) are actually more traditional than toe-up.
