Hi,
I need to make an afghan for a hunter. Any ideas for that? If you have any pictures or patterns of a camouflage or hunter-type afghan, I'd love to see them.
Thanks,
Brenda

Here is a pic of a afghan I made for a guy. It has a little stripe of camoflauge yarn in it. I used a Q hook and two strands of yarn.

I wish I could remember who it was but a few months back someone here made a green camo ghan in either the shell or crazy stitch and it really brought out the variations in the yarn. I think it'd really look neat done in the crazy stitch.

Also, I just recently finished one in Prudence's block stitch. It isn't camo but I think the stitch would look neat with it. It's the 2nd project down on my blog (linked in my sig, just go to the project gallery at right)

Are you using the bernat yarn? I just bought some of the camo yarn in blue last weekend to make my DH (in the navy) a stocking to take underway with him since he'll miss xmas. Hopefully I can figure out a stocking pattern now!

I did an afghan in hdc of this whitetail deer head http://*****************/wildanimals.html on a camo background. No pic but it came out really nice. I made a wide red border with hunting dogs in two corners and ducks in the other two cross stitched in gold yarn.

Hi, monster! I just posted a reply to your mom's pine tree/arrowheads afghan thread, because I'm VERY interested in the pattern. I would be great if you or your mom could tell us where it came from...Thanks!

You may have to join the group. It's a ripple afghan and real easy to make.
