Hi,
I am a knitter and lead a group of ladies who crochet and knit. We have been asked by Lydia Home - a residential home for teenagers to make hats for teenage boys. One lady on our team crochets like mad and needs a crochet hat pattern for teenage boys that is fashionable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Free would be best, but I am willing to purchase one if need be.
This forum is wonderful, I love it.
Thanks in advance,
Karen F

If you're looking for warm, these by Lisa are very nice and great looking:

If you're looking for just looks like a beanie, there are lots here:

You'll have to go through them as most are women's but some are unisex or men's.

Karen...I just happened to come across your thread...I happen to have a bunch of hats already made up....would you be interested in a donation?
Most fit up to an adult size head - not sure what size you are wanting exactly ...for what ages.

Hi Heidi,
We would love the donations and would send them on to Lydia Home. They are for teenage boys in High School and will be receiving them for Christmas gifts. The children who reside in this home in Chicago are children who have not been able to be placed in foster homes.
What a wonderful offer. Let me know what information you would like.
Please feel free to e-mail me at kmtfrancour@sbcglobal.net or give me a call at 847-382-0884.
Thanks so much, Heidi, what a blessing for these very special children!
Blessings to you,
Karen Francour

My very favorite men's cap is a free pattern that I found on-line. You can get to it through this link (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28986&highlight=men%27s)

Here is a whole list of hats. My personal opinion is that boys' hats don't really have a "style", it's just a matter of the colors one chooses.

Blacks, greys, browns, olive greens, navy, etc.
