Hi Ladies I need your help again! I am looking for a shawl pattern that starts at the bottom (the little end) not at the top end so I can make it as wide and as long as I want. The problemn is I am using this really fancy yarn (Trilogy by Berocco) so i need a simple sttic pattern nothing fancy since the yarn is so fancy already anyone know where I can find it? I checked at Crochet Pattern Central and could find one that starts at the small end that had simple stitches PLEASE HELP!

Off hand I know of this one:

http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/chs-triangleShawl.html

It's made of homespun but I don't see why you couldn't make it from what you wanted and work until it's the length you wanted. I made one and it really is easy.
I'm sure others who've made more shawls will give you more links. :)

Here are a few really simple ones that start from the bottom point:

I would also recommend the Lionbrand Triangle Shawl. I've made that one with Homespun many times and also with Jiffy. It should work with your yarn too. When I make it, I don't go into the top of the stitch, I go between because it's faster and I think it looks better on this particular pattern. I believe I also did triples on the edges instead of doubles. I can't remember for sure, but I definitely did that on the edges in this (http://huggems.netfirms.com/kerchief2.html) pattern, which also works up fast. Here (http://mermaiden.net/Gallery/Crochet/Accessories%20Swap/Shawl.jpg)'s Mermaiden's picture of the one I made for her in our accessory swap. It's even faster than the Lionbrand one, but more open.
