Candle Lamp Shade Cover

I have seen clear glass lamp shades that you can buy for the lrg candles. And I have seen what look like doilys crocheted on these lamp shades. What Im wondering is where the heck is the pattern for these? I have googled until Im googling :lol Does anyone know where I can find a free pattern for this?

THis is an example of what Im looking for, the embellishments i know I can find patterns for anywhere its the basic shade pattern I cant find. This was done by one of the women in my group and she does awesome work.

Wow! That is an awesome candle shade that woman made! I think if you want to try to make one like it you should go straight to the woman who made it and ask her if the pattern is for sale......I would even BUY the finished project! It IS Lovely!

Oh I agree with you 100% that this womans creations are awesome, you should see the apple one with the apple doily, I am actually buying from her, lol. I asked her for the basic pattern but she said that she dosent have it written down and that it was all memorized in her head (WOW!:) )but she didnt offer to write it down for me either, so Im thinking that maybe she wants them to be exclusive's. I dont know, I cant tell by looking at something what the pattern is. Maybe once I get it, I will be able to tell better.
And to the girl that posted above me, I have no clue how they look lit, Im almost afraid to burn the candle with such beautiful work on it.

I figured that's about what you wanted. Obviously I couldn't find the pattern either. I thought maybe what I posted might help you some. Sorry they can't.
I'm betting she either got it out of a book or magazine.
Personally I wouldn't burn a candle with that on it. I'm paranoid that way.:lol

I agree with you Empress about not burning a real candle inside it, if you click on this link, there are some crocheted pieces that are supposed to go on tealight candles and they specify that you should use ONLY battery operated tealights! Better safe than sorry...or worse!
