Tube Scarf

:fc Does anyone have a pattern or know where I can find a pattern for a Tube Scarf. They are so cool. I bought one today at one of our local fancy stores. They are literally a tube, but are atretchy enough that you can wear it as a dress. Then when you want it back as a scarf, you just run your hand along it and wah lah it looks like a scarf again. The material is very similar to fun fir, but I can't figure out how you would be able to make it so stretchy like it is. Any help or suggestions would be great.

My neighbor who knits has made those.. The ones in the stores are knitted by dropping every other stitch, that is what gives it the stretch.. I am not sure how to go about it for crocheting..

That's it! Perfect! I knit, but very slowly. I will give this a try though when I go to walmart the next time to get some of that RH Foxy which is their brand of fun fir I think.

I made one, without the dropped stitches, and it is not as stretchy as I would like. :(

As much as I love crochet, I just don't think a crocheted one will have the stretch that a knit one will. I've tried it.

That is exactly why I did the knit one, and that may have been why mine wasn't as stretchy, it was my first knit project. But it's soft, I will wear it.
