Wedding rings

My SIL is getting married at the end of March. I have plans to finish a quilt that was started by her great grandmother (the top is finished, with all but one of the squares hand-stitched) with my daughter. I want to do something else, as well. I have been looking and looking to see if I could find a crochet pattern for something similar to the "Wedding Rings (http://www.storesonline.com/images/common/imagewrap.img?)" quilt pattern. Has anyone seen anything like that, or can you offer any suggestions?

I did a little google search and found this one - Double Wedding Rings afghan (http://www.angelfire.com/pe/shellangels/Crochet.html) In this newsletter - www.crochetnmore.com/113003.htm (http://www.crochetnmore.com/113003.htm) - there's a few hints posted by a person who's made this particular one.
