Hello everyone, I'm currently hard at work on an afghan for my own baby, but a friend just gave me a bib for him that she made out of counted cross stitch, and so in return I want to make something for her son.

He's five months old and rather chubby (he's a darling), and it's so cold up here :w-cold I was thinking a jacket might be nice. I've never made one and don't have any patterns... does anyone know of a link I could try? It doesn't have to be overly simple since I'm relatively experienced. Thanks for your help!!

I thought this (http://www.coatsandclark.com/fun_and_free/crochet_thread/lc1381.htm) was cute

or better yet, If you don't like that one, try here (http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/index.php).

In the book "Hooked on Crochet" there is a lovely jacket pattern. It's super simple and adorable!!
