Does anyone have the "Lace Poncho and Cap" pattern from Bernat Urban Flair booklet. It uses boucle and boa.
This is the booklet and the pattern is the last onewww.bernat.com/patternbook.php?PBS=530125 (http://www.bernat.com/patternbook.php?PBS=530125)
If not, know of any pattern for soft boucle I can use to make a quick poncho or shawl?
Thanks
Deneen

this one is similar and you could use boucle on it ....

I have made just your basic poncho pattern using the boucle yarn...you know...2 rectangles and sew them together. Then I added a Cowl neck to it for warmth.
Others I know have used the "Incredible" poncho pattern by Lion Brand I think.
1 Long rectangle 55" long and about 20-24" wide. Fold in half and sew up on long side but leave an opening about 14" for your head to go thru. This makes an asymetricle poncho.
My Red poncho is made using that pattern but I did not use Boucle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/myprojects1/redponcho.jpg
I used TLC Amore.

Oh Barbara-
That is absolutely gorgeous. I love the symmetrical look!!! I use TLC Amore all the time and love the look and drape of it.

I have made 5 ponchos for Xmas this year and all of them are different patterns and all are made with boucle. They are turned out great. I think any pattern you use will look great. The quickest one I made was the "Easy Peasy" poncho.
