http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SamplerLady/mmouseplus.gif I am looking for an afghan pattern published in a magazine. It's called a Paperweight Afghan and is made of six sided granny type motifs. It was shown on the cover and page 99 of the magazine. The outside round of each motif would be black or dark navy.

What I need is that pattern or a similar one for the half motifs that "square up" the afghan.

Thanks for any assistance you can give on this.

That was published in Womans Day Sept 9, 1986. Have you found the half motifs yet? I have the directions if you still need them. That is a beautiful afghan. I made one last year--2006--for my daughter for Christmas. I made it large enough to cover the top of a double bed.

Welcome to the board!

This is a very old post. If you look at the date it was from Dec 2004. If you look over to the far right of the date you'll see "posts n/a".
This means this member is not a member here. She did not make the move from ez board to this one.
It's nice of you to try and help but it's moot unless someone else is looking for the pattern. In which case hopefully you're offing to send the pattern to them via snail mail as coping patterns is against copy right and this board's rules.

:)
