This is great fun.

Do 2 pineapples, join them together with an opening in the top.
Sew a liner and stuff it with lavender.

Tie a ribbon on the top.

Nice.:cheer

What a cute idea! And good for me, because I don't know if I will have the patience when I finally start working with thread to actually make more than 2 pineapples' worth at a time. Hehe! I'll have to make this a first on my project list.

I thought that was cute to "smelly thing":lol
You can also have 2 bookmarks or sew them a little ways at the top and down the sides and put some flleece or something similiar and have a fancy place to put hand sewing needles. pinkroses

Good idea. Sachets make great gifts. I've made so many that I lost count. Almost everybody loves lavender. My favorite.

very nice!! if you didn't sew the end with the ribbon closed, but still lined it, it might make a nice scissors keep too!

sachets are lovely when scented. throw them in a drawer, send them to friends. what a lovely yet simple design, congrats!

Smelly Thing - got me to look at this thread.

You could do them in red with a green liner, take some whole cinnamon and cloves and beat them a little to break them up and put that in, then tie them to Christmas presents. Then they could be neat little ornaments/ gift decorations.

Thanks.

Yeah, these are great to make. And quite quick.

Sachet! I'll have to remember that word.
I really do just call them 'smelly things'!

Wow! What a great temptation to try pinapples and sachets when I've been putting both of for so long as too complicated. It's such a great little idea that it's inspiring! Nicely done :-)
