Pattern for Background on Site

So, can anyone tell me what the pattern is for the design that's the background of this forum?

It seems that I read somewhere, or had a senior moment, that it was the "seed stitch", but I'm not sure. I've tried to find where I read it with no luck.

I don't beleive it's the seed stitch. Looks more like a SC.

I think I remember Donna telling me a long time ago that it's just single crochet.

It's a very small piece of a swatch, just a few stitches, that is tiled together to make the background. Since it's the same image repeated over and over, that's why it looks so perfect and uniform.
