I have an idea for a sweater that would be like a country hillside in Fall, all the great colors and textures of the season. I think it would work best in freeform but I have never done it before. My question is, with so many different yarns, how do you decide the best way to clean something ?

Pay attention to the yarns you choose. If any of the yarns you use require hand washing then that's how I would care for it.
