pin cushion

Help!!! i have a pin cushion i crocheted years ago that is little chinese people attached at the hands and legs that circle around a red cushion. You use to be able to buy the ones made of felt in the dime store The pattern has been misplaced and i want to make another.

ok folks i have to confess... i was getting desperate and finally found my original pin cushion made years ago but did not find the pattern. so i did what any crocheter would do in this spot...I took it apart so i could remember how i made it. i must say it is fairly simple and am copying it. will post a pic tomorrow as i should be able to finish it tonite. Fellow crocheters tell me who does this? i am going to start a poll on this i think would be interesting to see the numbers on this one.

Beth....I have actually taken items apart to see how they are done so I could recreate them when I couldn't find a pattern or even one close. Desperate times causes for desperate measures. Can't wait to see the picture of your pin cushion.

I don't think I actually take things apart but count stitches...yes, measure....yes, crochet and frog until I get a pattern.....of course. good luck and I too am waiting for pattern and pictures!!!!!!
