Bottle Cozies

hey all

i'm looking for a pattern for bottle cozies that will fit a 20 oz bottle. a friend of mine who's in iraq right now requested some and i have yet to find a good pattern that will fit a 20 oz water bottle

any suggestions will help

Good morning,

I found these two. Maybe one of these would work. The first one says it fits 16 (24) hook change may make a 20 ounce.

On the second one it doesn't say the size.

if you have worked in rounds before start one and increase until the bottom fits the water bottle then single or double crochet until its the height of the bottle then make a strap.

this way you can create what you want and have an original pattern

I hope I am not too late to this thread. I have done the "in the round thing" the others have mentioned but when you get to the top sc around a ponytail holder. I makes a real nice finish that stretches over the bottle but holds it firmly in place at the top. I hope that made sense.:think
You can then add a strap or what ever you choose. It definatly keeps water cold longer.

OHHHH I am going to try that. I am doing the Dandelion pattern for EVERYONE for Yule. I am going to try the pony tail holder on my next one.
