Hi to all the members of the ville that read this note..
I'm Lillibet and we got a call today from hubby's daughter to let us know that 14 year old Francis our grandaughter who is battling Lupus thru chemo and other meds at such a young age has been put back into the hospital today for more chemo treatments to see if the treatments will help slow down the eye sight loss...

When she was in the hospital about a year ago, they realized she was also loosing her eyesight and they did laser treatment and the chemo helped also but now she is back to maybe loosing her sight.

Francis is our girl which has me sewing snuggle blankies for the children in the St Petersburg all the childrens hospital cause she said she has been able to come home yet there are many other children that have not yet been able to come home.. So she wants to give them children something this christmas and I've been sewing all summer trying to get as many snuggle blankies lapghans size for her to donate to the children this x-mas..

So I was thinking if any one here would love to crochet a square or how ever many your heart dictates then I will put them together here. You can add a tag or card letting her know who sent it to her .

I've contributed some squares here for others as my heart as touched me too so can only pray that some of you kind hearted ladies/gents help out..

I was thinking maybe some 10 " 0r 12" so i can make it nice size...
Any colors that a 14 year old would like or really any colors you got at home and plain or designed ones will be fine..

If any one here can help please PM so I can send you my home addy.

I will keep posting here . Her moms is devastaded. I tell her she must keep faith in God as God is good and is beyond all doctors..
So thank you for reading and God bless.

I would like to help also but am unsure exactly what you are needing.

Do you want a 10 inch square or a 12 inch square?

What type of yarn do you want?

HI Barbara:

Thank you for helping and bless your kind heart...
You can either make the square 10" or 12 " either ways is good I think most ladies helping are making 12"... So if its not too much trouble the 12" for you that would be fine or if you can't then 10" cause i will still incorporate it in the comfortghan..
I will Pm you now my addy...
Ohhh by the ways any yarns you want to use will be good.. It will be a lovely comfortghan no matter what yarns are used as its being done from all the kind hearts in this forum..

HI Beth:
I'm happy you got the envie and forgive me for not being able to send it sooner... Too many things going on here at the moment.. None the less I hope you will enjoy the contents..
Thanks you for your helping out as well with the comfortghan for my grandaughter.. She has syblings twins a brother and sister and they are 12 years old the twins and they take such good care of her when she is so ill and you would think they are older but they are the youngest. They have all had to grow up with single mom and most of the time she is having to work outside the home to make ends meet so they have been having to grow up too fast...

Again thanks so much for your help..I'll keep my eyes opened.

i got your package in the mail today. i will get on this and get as many i can done and send them to you. Sorry to hear about your granddaughter. she sounds wise beyond her years. I will add her and the family to my prayers.

thanks for the package and be looking. I know that God will take care of this.

Hi to all:

I just wanted to keep you all posted and let you know that we were hoping that Francis would go home yesterday but NO... As of this evening she is still in the hospital and doctor told her mom that he didn't see any change in the session of chemo... they will give her more tomorrow.

Matthew and Ashley are her 12 year old twins sister and brother and they stayed with her all day yesterday and today at the hospital with her by her side. They don't want to leave her alone when she is in the hospital... Poor kids, they are all so close and they love each other so much...

even thou the doctors didn;t seem too hopeful I say i still Trust in God to intervine and heal my grandaugter.. So my hope and faith is still strong...

I will let you all know what happens as I know more..
Have a great evening
