Well, I really wanted to make one of these for my chi. I had to change up the stats. The original idea came from this post:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35492&highlight=granny+square
The dark color is actually purple. My Chi's name is Dumplin' and she weighs about 7 lbs.

Awww Dumplin looks gorgeous in her sweater :manyheart I'm very very partial to chis I own 3 myself :D I know of a great chi board if you're interested ;)

Oh my gosh! That is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. And gives me ideas about when I get another little chihauhau or any tiny dog for later on when I get my apartment. :manyheart

Too cute! I might have to made one for my dog. She's not a chi, she's a basenji and gets the shivers if the temps drop below 70 and we have a cold front moving in tonight. She definitely will not be pleased about going out in the morning. I guess hse probaly does need a sweater for cooler days.

These are so easy to put together, you could easily make one up pretty quick.
