Thanks guys!! I have enough of the mohair to make 2 more!! I'll be selling them though to recoup the money splurged on the yarn. I used 1 ball of moda dea dream to supplement the mohair on the fringe and then on the rose combined with caron simply soft in white. The pattern is here (http://www.craftown.com/crochet/pat51.htm).

How much yarn (skeins/yards) did it take to make that? I was thinking about using the Red Heart Symphony to make one, would I have to double it? (I didn't recognize the yarn that they used to make theirs in the pattern.) Just wondering...:)

I'm sorry Tina but I honestly don't know since I was using yarn from a cone. I'm also planning on trying it with the symphony also. I don't think you'd need to double it though. This pattern could be made with any weight yarn I think, you would do more repeats with a thin yarn and less with a bulkier yarn. I have some laceweight wool that keeps tempting me to use it in this pattern but I just don't know yet. Thread would be gorgeous Jackie!!

i agree with rebecca.. i did MINE (http://p084.ezboard.com/fcrochetvillefrm7.showMessage?topicID=1061.topic) in something much heavier than they called for and it thnk it turned out great.. i think this pattern could be used with any weight yarn .. i think thread would be n ice as well ..

THanks Jessi, I used a seeded mohair I bought from Melanie at FiberOptions (http://stores.ebay.com/Fiber-Options_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm), her ebay yarn store. It is a gorgeous baby blue with pink and white little nebs in it.

I am making mine now, I figured it out. Just needed to concentrate.:) (Oh and the baby taking a nap helped...):) Now I am on row 17? or something; it's SUPER easy, once you get it established... I'm doing mine in "Mystic Purple" Red Heart Symphony. I love it and can't wait til it's done!:knit (Another crocheting frenzy....):))

Oh My. I went and checked out her ebay listings. Wow. You really get that much yarn, for such a great price?! I couldn't figure out the postage, is it a lot? I am going to have to order from her. Great stuff. The yarn you got is so pretty.
