Select the "User CP" button on the top left of the Menu Bar.
Select the "Edit Avatar" button at the top of the "Settings & Options" bar on the Control Panel on the left side of the page.
At this point you have two options, depending on the number of posts you have made here at Crochetville and how long you have been a member:
If you have 40 or more posts AND you have been a registered member for at least 60 days, you may upload a custom avatar. Your avatar must be no larger than 60x60 pixels or 19.5 KB. All custom avatars are hosted here at Crochetville and may be uploaded directly from your computer or from a URL. In the box which states "Custom Avatar", select "Use Custom Avatar" and upload from your computer or a URL. The avatar will now be shown at each of your posts.
If you have fewer than 40 posts AND/OR you have been a registered member for fewer than 60 days, you may use one of the many pre-defined avatars we have created especially for Crochetville. Choose a category in the drop down menu and select the avatar of your choice. The avatar will now be shown at each of your posts. Be sure to select the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page after making any changes to your avatar!
